Did an art trade with my friend, some canvases for a quick logo/card design. Been really into these shapes recently.

holy moly this thing took me so much longer than I wanted it to. Originally done by hand and cleaned up in Photoshop, done for Valentine’s Day cards.  

JY Logo

It wasn’t until recently that I found a decent design for a personal logo, which proved to be more challenging than I expected. But I’m pretty satisfied with this version after playing with it, now I can start branding myself wohoo.

rTheir Dark Materials Zine, 5.5 x 8 each

They’re all done! I made a black and white version and a color version, the B&W was to hand out to my class, color is killer when it comes to cost. This was a creative response to all of our readings in class, which were John Milton, William Blake, Ronald Johnson, and Phillip Pullman. I did a graphic design approach in a form of a zine, all the spreads you can see in previous posts.
